Kulminasyon sa Buwan ng Nutrisyon Nagmalampuson Sa MCLC


Nahimong malampuson ang kuliminasyon sa selebrasyon sa buwan ng nutrisyon sa Maa Christian Learning Center (MCLC) bag-ohay pa lamang.

Usa ka nindot ug alegring presentasyon sa sayaw ug kanta nga gipakita sa estudyante sa eskuwelahan sa Bugac, Barangay Maa sa nahuman nga kulminasyon sa Buwan ng Nutrisyon.

Nagpakita sa ilahang talento sa pagsayaw ug pagkanta ang mga estudyante aron ipabuhayag unsa kaimportante ang nutrisyon sa kinabuhi nato.

Tanan nga estudyante sa eskuwelahan gikan nursery hangtud grade six ang niapil sa gihimong programa sa eskuwelahan subay sa temang "Healthy Diet Gawing Habit for Life".

Nagpahigayon sad ug poster making ug pag-luto sa mga pagkaon nga puno ug nutrisyon aron ipakita sa mga bata unsa kaimportante ang pagkaon ug gulay sa atong kinabuhi.

Puno ug kalipay dili lamang ang estudyante ug titser sa MCLC pati sab ang mga ginikanan tungod sa maayong presentasyon ang gipakita sa ilahang mga anak.

Usa sa dili malimtan nga pasundayag sa programa ang pagsayaw sa mga titser nga gikalipay sa mga estudyante ug ginikanan.

Barangay Maa PBA Cager Help PH Beat Thailand In SEA Games Basketb


Barangay Maa, Davao City native Amer Baser has played a crucial role in the hard earned 81-74 win of the Philippine Gilas basketball team against Thailand on Sunday evening.
Amer, a fastrising poit-guard of the Meralco Bolts in the Philippine Basketball Association scored six points in the game and dished out many assisst to help Gilas ward off Thailand in their opening game.
A former player of Holy Child School of Davao, Amer showed steady playmaking and maturity to help Gilas withstand a tough stand from Thailand.
Coming off a great performance in ongoing PBA Comissioner's Cup, Amer help his team with crucial points and asisst to ensure they can start their title retention bid in basketball on a positive note.
Gilas will bext face Myanmar on Tuesday evening.

Pickpocket Busted For Victimizing Kadayawan Festival Attendees

An alleged pickpocket was busted by the police for victimizing some of the people attending the Kadayawan Festival celebration along San Pedro Square, Davao City over the weekend.
The San Pedro Police arrested Louie Gubat Atton, a resident of Sitio Lamondao,Marilog District, Davao City for stealing the cellphone of a woman identified as Ken Herana.
In the initial police investigation, the victim was watching an activity in the area when she noticed that her cellular phone is already missing.
The victim immidiately sought the help of the police leading to the arrest of the suspect.
Taken from the suspect during his arrest was the cellphone owned by the victim and other cellphones possibly owned by the persons victimized by the suspect.
A criminal case is now being readied against the detained suspect.

Southshield FC Wins Big In 1st RMC Football Tilt


The Southshield Football Club won two trophies and medals in the recent 1st Rizal Memorial Col-leges (RMC) Football Festival dubbed as “One Team, One Goal, One Family, One Mindanaoan Football” at the Tionko football grounds.
The nine and under team of Southshield FC beat Koronadal in the finals 4-1 to emerged as champion on the said category.
Southshield FC striker Anthony Elorde who was chosen as most valuable player in the match provided the winning goals for the team.
The team coached by former University of Mindanao football player Roland Manabit are also made up of Ruzchen villarmia, Yuan Guingguing, Jian Goyonan, Karlos Donado, Enzo Trinidad, Kael Morata, Luiz Digman, Rythem Demicillo and Aldrich Dunay.
The 10 and under team of Southshield Fc also got the second place in their division after they fell to Rover in the Finals 0-1.
The team who is also coached by Manabit are composed of Zyk Lopez, Art Eroy, James Gameti, Anthony Elorde, Yuan Guingguing, Jian Goyonan, Karlos Donado, Enzo Trinidad, Kael Morata, Niel Imperial, Luiz Digman and Charles Chiu.
Carlo Chiu, the president of Southshield FC is very happy with their twin victories and he vowed that the team will train even harder to win more trophies and medals in the future.

Tagum Cops Won BVR Beach Volley Tourney In Cagayan


Two rookie policewomen from Tagum City Police Office stole the limelight and won the 2017 Beach Volleyball Republic National Championship in Sta. Ana, Cagayan province Sunday.
Police Officer 1s Karen Quilario and Lourdilyn Catubag beat the pair from Southwestern University of Cebu City 21-7, 21-19 to win the girl's division in the prestigious beach volleyball tournament.
Both Quilario and Catubag are very happy and proud of their win.
"Nagpapasalamat po kami sa Panginoon kasi kung hindi dahil sa Kanya, hindi kami makakarating dito tsaka hindi namin
mapapanalo itong laro na ito," Catubag said.
"Ginawa namin yung kaya namin, yung teamwork at previous experiences namin, kaya nakuha namin yung championship," Quilario
added.
The pair reached the finals after beating Bea Tan and Mich Morente in the
quarterfinals. Tan of course, is the defending BVR national champion after winning the whole thing with Fiola Ceballos
last year at MOA sands.
Come the semifinals, Tagum-PNP continued to roll, blasting Cebu leg champions UNO-R (Magdato/Polidario) in
straight sets, 21-10, 21-12.
Aside from winning the title of BVR National Champion, Quilario and Catubag also won P50,000 cash and other prizes.
More importantly, they made the Philippine team pool for the 2017 Southeast Asian Beach Volleyball Games in Singapore.

Southshield FC Takes 2nd Place In Nabunturan Football Tilt

The Southshield Football Club won the second place in the recent 2nd Nabunturan United Football Club (NUFC) football tournament in Nabunturan, Compostela Valley Province.
The 10 and under team of Southshield FC fell to Amsai Blacrose Football Club in the finals 0-1.
The team coached by former University of Mindanao Football player Roland Manabit won a trophy and medals for their feat.
The team are composed of Zyk Lopez, Karlos Donado, Charles Kenn Chiu, Luiz Digman, Art Eroy, Anthony Elorde, Yuan Guingguing, Gian Goyonan, Niel imperial, James Gamete, Kael Morata and Enzo Trinidad.
Southshield FC president Carlo Chiu is very happy with their win and said they are now training hard so that they can join more football tournaments this year.
