Davao City motocross riders dominate 1st Davao Enduro-X Challenge

Davao City based motocross riders were the big winners in the first Davao Enduro-X Challenge 2-man team held last March 16 at the Moto-X Farm in Barangay Langub, Maa district, Davao City.
The pair of Jonice Gabuli and Jenniel Nebiar of Davao City ruled the 250cc with Gabulin finishing first with his Suzuki RM250 and his partner Nebiar in second place with his Yamaha YZ250.
The second place went to another Davao City entry the pair of Roel Villanueva and Michael Leooncito.
The third place also went to the Davao City pair of Alex Lee and John Leynes.
In the 0-230cc category the first place went the Davao City pair of Lee Joshua Alfanta and Leonel Macapas.
The second place went to the pair of Ricky Mendoza and Kyle Redoblado of Matanao, Davao del Sur.
The third place went to the two-some Irvin Flores and Jhun Rabanillo of Davao City.
In the underbone category the Matanao, Davao del Sur entry of Ricky Mendoza and Kyle Redoblado took the top prize.
The second place went to Jun Sulinay and Lito Vacalares of Bukidnon.
The third place went to the General Santos City pair of Gabay Las and Ariel Monton.
The race winners got the slowest time per pair in the official time.
The track they transverse is five kilometers long that include obstacles such as hills, tires, logs, as well as other natural obstacles found along the track.
Norben ‘Bok’ Mata, one of the organizers of the event, handed a total of P180,000 of cash prizes and trophies to the winners in all three categories from the city government of Davao through the City Sports Office.
