Nov. 18. Ancajas travels to Belfast, Ireland to battle undefeated local hero Jamie Conlan. The 30-year-old challenger is
the older brother of upcoming pro and former world amateur champion Michael Conlan. The 5-foot-7 Conlan just confirmed the
12-round bout in his Twitter account @JamieConlan11. "Delighted to be fighting for the IBF world title, Nov. 18 in Belfast,"

Conlan used the hashtag #AndTheNew, implying he'll beat and dethrone the reigning champion. Conlan is undefeated in 19 fights, 11 of which he won by way of knockout. The fight serves as
the main undercard in the ring comeback of former world featherweight champion Carl Frampton. Like Conlan, Frampton is also
a native of Ireland.
Ancajas will be making the third defense of his title this
year overseas after previously winning over Mexican Jose Alfredo Rodriguez in Macau last January and Teiru Kinoshita of
South Korea in July as the main undercard in the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title match between
Manny Pacquiao and Jeff Horn in Brisbane, Australia. The Filipino southpaw, who fights under the MP Promotions, won the
115 lbs title belt over McJoe Arroyo last year. He has a ring record of 27-1-1 with 18 KOs.
