That child was named Alleona Ysabel Braceros, a name rooted in family history—“Alleona” drawn from her maternal grandmother, Leona. When her parents asked the attending doctor why she was able to survive when others could not, they were told: “Women have stronger survival instincts than men.” Yet her family believes it was more than instinct—it was God’s blessing that spared her life.

Her survival did not come without challenges. The ordeal was emotionally and financially taxing for her parents, but the gift of Alleona’s life became a profound source of strength and joy.
