Panabo Boxing Champ Loses In South Africa

The unbeaten run of Panabo City, Davao del Norte boxing champion Jay-Ar Inson is now officially over.

This developed after Inson loses his non-title bout against African boxer Thulani Mbenge via unanimous decision in the welterweight division clash last June 10, at the Emperor's Palace, Kempton Park, South Africa.

Inson the current World Boxing Organization (WBO) Pacific welterweight champion is humble in his defeat saying his opponent is the better boxer in their bout. With his defeat, Inson dropped his record to  13 wins (nine knockouts) and one loss while Mbenge kept its unbeaten card in 11 outings.

Before losing to the African, Inson scored a seventh round stoppage of Ryota Yada in December last year in Japan. The fast rising boxer is managed by Nonoy Neri.
