This developed after LGSA ruled the recent United Basketball League (UBL) inter-high school basketball competition that came to a close on January 27 at the Gaisano Grand City Mall Sky Gym.
LGSA mentored by Holy Cross of Davao College Crusaders coach IsaiasGravador Jr. beat Brokenshire College of Davao (BCD) in the finals 76-55 to win the UBL crown.
Kane Montero scored 13 points to carry LGSA to the championship crown.
Montero's teammate Carrera also added 12 points in their win.
LGSA players Miguelito Manuel, Rani Sendiong, Rommel Juntilla and Jan JanBarayuga also combined for 30 points in their win.
Gravador is very pleased with their win since it is a morale booster when they play in the National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) Davao City leg.
