Representing the Philippine National Police, Pido won the Rizal 55K Ultramarathon last December 30 at the Sunset Beach Park in the Island Garden City of Samal.
A winner of many running events in his career, Pido finished the 55-kilometer distance course within five hours and 37 minutes which quite longer than his past record which
was 4:51.59.
Pido said he won because of his hard training, proper hydration and determination.
With a great ending for 2017, Pido is looking forward to winning more races in 2018.
