Getting sick is something most of us do not want to experience because of the cost and the hassle it offers, especially in transporting patients to the nearest hospital.
To address this fear and bring relief to his beloved constituents, Barangay Sasa captain Jerry Licarte has initiated a patient medical transport service for his constituents that needs immediate hospitalization.
This patient medical transport system is considered a revolutionary and game changer since it is free to all Barangay Sasa residents.
Sick patients living in Sasa who need immediate transport to the hospital need to call or inform the barangay, and they will avail of the services of the barangay's ambulance that will transport them to a hospital free of charge.
The ambulance, equipped with all the necessary emergency medical equipment, will also transport the patient back to their house after hospitalization free of charge.
"This patient medical transport service is available 24/7 to all Barangay Sasa residents," Licarte said.
Licarte said he decided to implement this worthwhile barangay service since he wants to help all his constituents who do not have the money to bring their sick loved ones to the hospital.
"This service is available to all Sasa residents; all you need to do is to contact us if you want to avail our ambulance," Licarte added.
Barangay Sasa's patient medical transport service is a game changer; other barangays in the city can also implement it. Licarte might be a neophyte as Barangay Sasa chairman, but his heart for public service is like no other.
