DAVAO CITY---The cities of Davao, Panabo, and Island Garden City of Samal ruled the blitz category of the chess compeition in the ongoing Davao Regional Athletic Association 2024.
The host Davao City Durians won nine medals in the elementary and high school blitz competition.
The Durian winners areTeam event - Gold Secondary Boys Andrei- Dolorosa and Naetan Tapere.
Individual - Gold - Andrei Dolorosa

- Hadassah Literatus and Nathalie Suter

Individual - Gold - Hannah Segara
The Panabo City Magnates on the otherhand won the individual blitz secondary courtesy of Princes Dianna Simbajon and the team event with teammate Angel Saraste.
The IGACOS Waves for its part won the three gold medals in blitzIndividual Ralz Jaweh B. Devibar for individual elementary level and elementary team courtesy of Joriel James Yap & Devibar Ralz🏅
