DAVAO CITY---After 10 years of waiting the Holy Cross of Davao College Crusaders finally reclaimed the women's collegiate volleyball crown in the Davao Association of Catholic Schools finals against Cor Jesu College at UIC Bajada Gymnasium last March 7, 2024.
The Crusaders coached by veteran and former Ateneo de Davao University varsity player Roman Jacob Cuison edged the visiting Cor Jesu College from Digos City, Davao del Sur in a thrilling five-set match-up.
In a Facebook post, Cuison is very happy and grateful for their big win.
"After 10 long years! After a year of setbacks, We made a goal to be back for this year, and God gave it to us!
The determination of my players for a year is unmatched. Many serious problems came our way, but family truly matters for the girls!🥹
