A promising Davaoeno Sambo practitioner has won a gold medal in the tough and prestigious 2024 Grand Prix de Sambo de Paris in Stade Charléty salle Charpy,17 Avenue Pierre de Paris.
Davaoeo Chino Sy -Tancontian, a 2024 Dutch Open gold medallist won the gold in the 98-kilogram category after beating Didier Biansomba last June 1.
Aside from Tancontian, Aislinn Agness Yap, a 2023 Asian & Oceania SAMBO Championship Bronze Medallist also won the gold in the 80 kilogam category girls.
Yap beat Joannie Delbar.
Veteran Sambo practitioner Mark Striegl, a 2023 SEA SAMBO Gold Medalist won the bronze medal in the 71-kilogram combat Sambo category.
Paolo Tancontian, the president of Pilipinas Sambo is very happy with the performance of his athletes in the international martial arts competition.
