Metro Manila, Philippines – Following her double gold medal victory at the recent Palarong Pambansa in Cebu City, Tennielle Bedua Madis from Mlang, North Cotabato, has secured an international tennis title on home soil. The promising young athlete, a student at Southern Baptist College, clinched the Girls' Singles title at the PHINMA ITF Juniors 2024 held in Metro Manila from July 6-21.
Madis displayed exceptional skill and determination, defeating Taiwanese player Hsieh Yu Ching with a commanding 6-2, 6-3 victory in the finals. This win further cements her status as one of the most promising young tennis talents in the Philippines.
In addition to her singles success, Madis teamed up with Janna Diaz to win the silver medal in the doubles competition, showcasing her versatility and prowess on the court.
