Kahusay ug kalinaw sa siyudad ang usa sa mga mensahe ni Roger Galido, kanhi barangay kapitan sa Barangay Agdao, Davao City sa monolupyo sa siyudad sa Dabaw atol sa selebrasyon sa Kadayawan 2023.

Nangihinaut usab si Galido nga daghan pang turista ang mobisita sa siyudad dili lamang atol sa Kadayawan kung dili pati sad sa ubang okasyon.

Niadtong Agosto 16, Isip pahalipay ug tabang sa iyahang kabarangay nagpakaon sa tibuok adlaw ug nagpa concert pa dyud si Galido atol sa kapistahan sa San Roque sa iyahang barangay.

Si Galido nga usa karon nga kagawad sa Barangay San Antonio nibutyag nga tradisyon na niya nga magpakaon sa iyahang kabarangay kada piesta sa San Roque isip pasalamat ug tabang sa iyahang kabarangay.

Matud niya mosulod-gawas ang iyahang balay ang mga tao kada fiesta sa San Roque gikab sa buntag hangtud gabii.

Karong tuiga nagdasok gayod ang mga tao nga kanipiesta sa balay ni Galido isip timailan nga gihugma nila ang ilahang kanhi kapitan.

Isip pahalipay ug pasalamat nagpa concert usab si Galido sa iyahang kabarangay sa maong piesta.

Nanghatag usab ug libreng ice cream si Galido sa mga sa iyahang barangay sa susamang piesta.

Puno ug kalipay si Galido sa pagselebrar sa kapitastahan sa San Roque kay nakahatag kini ug kalipay sa iyahang ginaserbisyohang katawhan.

 

Jhun Duray provided logistics and financial aid to Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan winner Catalunan Pequeno National High School

 

One of the people behind the second-place win of Catalunan Pequeno National High School in the Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan school-based category is Barangay Catalunan Pequeno two-term barangay councilor, Jhun Duray.

Duray provided logistical support and financial aid to the students from CPNH who participated in the Inda-Indak sa Kadalanan contest.

The service-oriented barangay councilor lend his trucks to carry the props of the participants, which are made up of big things that cannot be accommodated by small vehicles.

Duray usually uses the truck for his metal scrap business.

Aside from providing transport, Duray also a little financial aid to the contingent.

With the valuable help Duray provided, the CPNH is very grateful for his benevolent heart.

"A true leader don't just push team members towards excellence-rather, he actively demonstrate what excellence is. And this is a kind of leader Kgwd Jhun Duray is. He is someone who do not say go, rather, he always say let's go. Meaning, he worked with the team and giving his all untiredly. A leader we need is a leader who lead," Kimwel Abella Cortez, a member of the winning team said in a Facebook post.

Being an environmentalist, Duray hopes to plant more trees to provide shade and protection to the residents if he gets the chance to be elected as its next barangay captain.

Duray said clean and green is one of the top agendas of his administration if he gets elected as barangay captain since he believes protecting the environment is an important part of a community.

"There are still a lot of areas in Catalunan Pequeno where we can plant more trees for fresh air," Duray said.

He said since he became a barangay councilor it had been his advocacy alongside the Jaguars of Catalunan Pequeno to plant trees.

Isip pag selebrar sa ika-38 nga Kadayawan sa siyudad sa Davao, nanawagan si Bendor Calamba, kapitan sa Barangay Talomo sa pag preserbar sa tradisyon sa mga lumad nga monolupyo sa siyudad sa Davao.

Isip usa ka opisyal sa barangay nanaad usab si Calamba nga ipadayon niini ang iyang advokasiya sa pag protekya sa atong kinaiyahan.

Nanawagan usab si Calamba ug panaghiusa sa tibuok residente sa Davao ug suportahan ang kagamhanang lokal sa mga proyekto niini para sa kaayuhan sa mga katawhan sa siyuad.

"As you dedicated public servant, I am committed to preserving our heritage, safeguarding our environment, and championing the aspirations of each and every one of you," saysay ni Calamba sa Facebook account niini.

Puno ang kalipay ang kasingkasing ni Calamba karong semahana kay bagohay pa lamang nakuha niini  ang endorsement ug pagsalig sa Bise Presidente sa Pilipinas ug kasamtangang secretary sa Department of Education nga si Inday Sara Duterte.

Walay duha-duha nga gitaas gayod ni VP Sara ang kamot ni Calamba isip opisyal nga manok niini sa umaabot nga Sangguniang Kabataan ug Barangay Elections karong Octubre sa Barangay Talomo.

Nahimo ang endorsement human magkita si Calama ug Duterte sa gipahigayong Brigada Eskwela sa  Gov Vicente Duterte High School sa Barangay Talomo.

Malipayon ug mapasalamaton si Calamba sa gihimong endorsement ni Duterte kay kini nagpamatood nga may salig kini sa iyahang administrasyon ug sa mga nabuhat niini sa Barangay Talomo isip kapitan.

"Gigasahan jud ta sa atong Ginoo karong adlawa kay Nahimamat nato si VP SARA DUTERTE atol sa brigada skwela sa Gov Vicente Duterte High School og walay pag duha duha iyang gi taas ang atong kamot timailhan sa iyang dakong suporta sa atoang administrasyon sa Brgy Talomo Proper!," matud ni Calamba sa iyahang post sa Facebook.

Gibutyag ni Calamba nga dugay na silang suod nga higala ni Duterte ug mapasalamaton kini sa mga proyektong nahatag sa opisina sa Bise Presidente sa mga residente sa Barangay Talomo.

Kung buligan nga modaog sa umaabot nga eleksiyon nagsaad si Calamba nga maghimo pa ug daghang mga proyekto nga maka benepisyo sa mga residente sa Barangay Talomo.
