Daghang residente sa Talomo Proper naka benepisyo sa Medical Mission sa Southern Philippines Baptist Theological Seminary Incorporated


Daghang mga residente sa Barangay Talomo Proper ang nakabenepisyo sa libreng medical mission nga gihimo sa Southern Philippines Baptist Theological Seminary Incorporated sa maong barangay niadtong Octubre 5.

Nagpahigayon ug libreng check-up ug medisina ang SBTC sa maong adlaw sa covered court likod sa Barangay Talomo Proper Barangay Hall.


Naglungsad sad ang maong relhiysong grupo ug libreng tuli sa mga kabatanonan sa Barangay Talomo Proper.

Malipayon si Barangay Talomo Proper tsirman Bendor Calamba sa maong medical mission kay dakong tabang kini sa mga residente.


Gibutyag ni Calaman nga ang medical mission kabahin sa Oplan kalusugan sa iyahang administrasyon.

Gisaysay ni Calamba nga sugod nahimo kining kapitan sa Barangay Talomo Proper isa mga ginatutukan niini ang serbisyon medical para sa katawhan sa Barangay Talomo Proper.

Barangay Dumoy's Jessie Mar Culaste is barangay captain with double doctorate degrees

 



Barangay Dumoy, Davao City's residents are blessed to have Jessie Mar Culaste as its barangay captain since he is an excellent public servant with a double doctorate degree.

Yes, you read it right: Culaste is one of the few barangay captains in the Philippines with two doctorate degrees.

Culaste finished his collegiate degree as a registered doctor of dentistry.


A few years back, Culaste got his second doctorate degree as a master's in public administration.

The long-time barangay chairman of Dumoy is happy and proud of his achievements, and he is using his learning to better serve his beloved constituents.

If you are a resident of Barangay Dumoy, the Citizen's Charter inside the barangay hall indicates they are showing good governance to the people.


Culaste's decision to show his constituents the services they can avail themselves of in his barangay indicates he deeply cares for his constituents and wants them to avail themselves of the services from the barangay that are available to them.

Aside from the Citizen's Charter, Culaste has also posted the barangay disclosure board for the public to see.

Culaste said transparency in public funds and projects is something he has always adhered to since he became a barangay captain in 2002.

Once a resident enters the Dumoy Barangay Hall for assistance or query regarding barangay affairs, a barangay disclosure board can be visible on the side of the stairways leading to the second floor of the Dumoy Barangay Hall.


At the barangay disclosure board, the current annual budget, barangay expenditures, and other financial-related matters are posted for the public to know.

Culaste said the barangay disclosure board is part of the Department of Interior and Local Government mandate for barangays all over the Philippines to put a disclosure board for transparency's sake.

"Aside sa DILL part sad ning barangay disclosure board sa order sa city kay naga aim man ang Davao City nga modaog sa most outstanding city in terms of housekeeping," Culaste told Latest Davao News.

He said as barangay captain, they must fully inform the public how much the barangay funds are and where these funds go.

Recycle storage boxes placed all over Barangay Maa to promote environmental protection and recycling

 



To promote environmental protection and recycling, the current officials of Barangay Maa, Davao City, have placed various recycling storage boxes in the various puroks of the barangay.

The recycle storage boxes allow residents to place metal, cans, plastic, bottles, paper, and cardboard on the said storage facilities to avoid littering in the streets.

Since becoming a barangay captain in 2018, Barangay Maa chairman Pacito Canete has made it a policy to promote proper garbage segregation in his barangay.


Canete, a retired police official, has also strived hard under his term to promote environmental protection.

Canete said since he became a barangay captain of Maa in 2018, he also made it a point to create programs that will benefit his beloved constituents.

Canete has also prioritized peace and order in his administration.

Canete told Latest Davao News that when he assumed office in 2018 as barangay captain, he prioritized peace and order since riots and crimes are prevalent in his barangay.

Being a retired policeman, Canete goes tough against rioters and criminals to stop them from creating chaos and violence in his barangay.

"Kailangan isog dyud ka dili puede magbinayot ka," Canete said.

He said due to his tough stance against crimes, many criminals fled.

He added that he also decided to provide financial and livelihood support to rioters to stop them from creating trouble in Barangay Maa.

To keep the peace and order in Barangay Maa, he also ordered his barangay policemen to regularly conduct roving operations to keep criminals and troublemakers at bay.


Barangay Vehicles are a massive help for Barangay Matina Crossing residents

 



One of the most significant projects under the administration of Barangay Matina Crossing, Davao City chairman Joel Santes is the acquisition of many vehicles for the barangay.

Under the leadership of Santes, the barangay was able to acquire many vehicles that help the residents in times of emergencies and health emergency situations.


The barangay prides itself on having its own Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) that the residents can use for health emergencies.

If a resident of Matina Crossing needs quick medical attention, the PTV is a valuable help for them.

The barangay also has a firetruck and other emergency and rescue vehicles.


Since becoming a barangay captain for Matina Crossing, Santes has always strived hard to give what was best for his beloved constituents

Kasagaran sa mga awards nga nadawat sa Barangay Communal mahitungod sa peace and order kay isa kini sa nag-unang programa sa administrasyon ni Galvez.

Matud ni Galvez sa pakighinabi sa Latest Davao News nga ginatutukan niini ang peace and order kay walay progrero mahitabo sa usa ka lugar kung gubot kini ug walay krimen.

Jhun Duray gets an invite to VP Sara Duterte's Pasasalamat event

 




In recognition of his strong support for Davao City's first district congressman, Pulong Duterte, Catalunan Pequeno, two-time barangay councilor Jhun Duray got the chance to attend the Pasasalamat event graced by Vice President Sara Duterte at the Davao Convention and Trade Center last October 4.

In the event, Duray could also mingle with other members of the Duterte political clan, like Davao City mayor Baste Duterte and Sara Durterte.

Since being elected as barangay councilor in 2012, Duray has made it a point to help Barangay Catalunan Pequeno residents by himself if the need arises 24/7.

Unlike other officials, Duray is willing to do the dirty work or leg work despite his status as an elected official just to ensure the one who needs help will get the aid he or she needs.


Take the case of the recent participation of the Catalunan Pequeno National High School in the Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan contest organized by the city government of Davao for the Kadayawan celebration last August.

Duray not only provided logistics and financial aid to the participants but also personally carried their props to the trucks that they would use in transporting their props and equipment for the street dancing contest.

The benevolent heart of Duray was rewarded as CPNH won second place in the contest.


With the valuable help Duray provided, the CPNH is very grateful for his benevolent heart.

Isip kanhi kapitan sa Barangay San Antonio, nakadaug sab ang maong barangay sa Pasko Fiesta nga giorganisa sa lokal nga kagamhanan sa siyudad sa Dabaw.

Willingness to help 24/7 made Barangay Catalunan Pequeno residents love Jhun Duray more

 


While most elected barangay officials would shy away from offering direct help to those in need or letting someone do the work for them, that is not the case for Barangay Catalunan councilor Jhun Duray.

Since being elected as barangay councilor in 2012, Duray has made it a point to help Barangay Catalunan Pequeno residents by himself if the need arises 24/7.


Unlike other officials, Duray is willing to do the dirty work or leg work despite his status as an elected official just to ensure the one who needs help will get the aid he or she needs.

The medical assistance desk is a huge help for Barangay Matina Crossing residents

 



The decision of Barangay Matina Crossing, Davao City officials, to put up a  medical desk is a massive help for the residents.

Barangay Matina Crossing chairman Joel Santes put up the desk to assist and help his constituents who need medical help.

If a resident needs financial help for medical purposes, he or she just needs to go to the desk and ask for assistance.

The desk officer assigned for the day will guide the resident on how to get his or her request.


Aside from offering medical assistance, the desk will also aid residents in how to get burial assistance for their departed loved ones.

Since he became a barangay captain many years back, medical and health services have been one of the top priorities of his administration.

Through the help of the city government, the congressional office in the first district, and the PBA party list, Santes was able to help facilitate many medical missions in his barangay.

Santes decided to focus on health and services as barangay captain because he knew it was essential and beneficial for his constituents.
