Jerwin Ancajas Set To Fight In US After Good Showing In Ireland

After successfully defending his crown for the third time in Belfast, Ireland last week, Panabo City, Davao del Norte boxing champion Jerwin Ancajas is set to fight in the United States in 2018.
No less than Top Rank top honcho Bon Arum made the assurance that he will promote Ancajas fights in the US next year.
Arum said he is very impressed on the performance of Anjacas in Ireland when he stopped challenger Jamie Conlan of Northern Ireland to retain his
International Boxing Federation IBF) super-flyweight title.
He said one of his plans is to allow Ancajas to fight in an ESPN bout to make popular among American audience.
Ancajas is one of just three reigning Filipino world champions.
Ancajas won the title from McJoe Arroyo in 2016.
Ancajas has now improved his record to 27-wins, 1-loss, 1-draw while Conlan suffered his first defeat and dropped to 19-1-0, 11KOs.
