RMC Bulldogs Wins Inter-High School Basketball Tourney

The home team Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Bulldogs has won the crown in the first season of the  Davao Pride Basketball League (DPBL) Inter-High School Basketball Tournament
on Saturday at the newly-refurbished RMC Fil Oil Flying V event center.
The Bulldogs beat Bernardo Carpio National High School (BCNHS) Sandstorms 84-68 to win their best of three championship series.
The win came on the heels of beating the BCNHS 84-70, in Game 1 that led the Bulldogs to a commanding 1-0 card the same day.
Infront of a 2,300 spectators the Bulldogs got solid scoring output from Jack Into who poured in 23 points to win the championship crown this year.
Into also got solid scoring support from Elmarc Subingsubing, Clerrudel Noya and Jules Mirafelix, who all scored 14 points a piece.
Charnee Tag-at also added 12 points for the victorious home team.
The rest of the champion team members are the following:  Kyle Crodua, Jr Labajo, Denzel Gumban, Salden Ralf Calceña, Francis Lasaca, Keanu Lara, Nico Macarayan and Ruebelle Delos Santos.
Meanwhile,  the Davao City National High School took third place after beating Cabantian National High School 95-89.
