PASIG CITY — Davao City once again made its mark on the national stage as Tibungco Dancesport Team members Gavin Tangara and Reyben Mari H. Semilla bagged a silver medal in the Philippine DanceSport Federation 2nd Quarter Ranking Dancesport Championship held at the Philsport Arena on June 14-15.
The dynamic duo, both proud alumni of Bustamante National High School in Tibungco, Davao City, showcased grace, rhythm, and precision as they danced their way to a second-place finish in their category, beating out strong contenders from across the country.
Their impressive performance is a shining testament to the growing talent pool in Davao’s dancesport community. Tangara and Semilla's podium finish not only brought honor to their school and hometown but also solidified the city’s status as a rising powerhouse in Philippine dancesport.
