Panabo, Cebu Runners Rule Southern Philippines Unified Marathon In Comval


A runner from Panabo City, Davao del Norte and Cebu were the big winners in the recent  4th Southern Philippines Unified Marathon (SPUM) held in Compostela Valley province.
Jerobin Cabudlan, a mainstay of Panabo Runners Club (PRC) ruled the male 100K title over Val Lemuel Longino of Team Davao Runners (11:24) and Ramie Amigleo of Sugarcane Trail
Ultra Runners (12:41) who grabbed the next two places.
Cabudlan, the recent winner of the Davao Ultramarathon Club (DUC) 59K is very pleased with his latest victory.
Meanwhile, Rhoda Oporto of Paksit Runner from Cebu won the female category after clocking 13:20.
The second place in the female category went to  Stur's Azenith Balbutin (15:43).
The third place on the same category went to Irish Bedrijo of PLDR (17:10).
The other winners in the other categories were the following: Buddy Lloyd Yparraguirre of PRC checked in at 4:44 to clinch the 50k male category, besting his teammates
Eduard Masuar and JersonBotea who timed 5:10 and 6:25, respectively. Mary Ann Javarez crowned herself female 50K champion
with a time of 6:07. She bested Vernaizi Mercado (6:16) and Jennifer Lerio (6:23).
