Panabo City Will Host National Tennis Tourney On October 19-22


Some of the top tennis players in the Philippines are set to join a national tennis tournament to be held in Panabo City, Davao del Norte on October 19-22.
The tennis tournament dubbed as Mayor James Gamao National Invitational Tennis Championship 2017 is organized by Merco-Selecta.
Tournament chairman Anthony Ferrazzini, also president of Mercantile Corporation (Merco) said this is the first time Panabo is hosting a big professional tennis tournament.
Ferrazzini revaled Johnny Arcilla of Butuan City is returning to defend his singles and doubles titles.
The other big named tennis players joining the tournament are Patrick John Tierro, Leander Lazaro, Davao City's Mark Anthony Alcoseba, John Mari Altiche,
Noel Mariano Damian Jr., Elbert Vicente Anasta and Fritz Chris Verdad.
The tournament which is a round-robin format offers free registration and cash prizes to the winners.
