Some of the top college basketball teams in region 11 are joining the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) Davao Region eliminations which starts on October 22 at the Almendras Gym Davao City Recreation Center.
The winner in the Davao City elimination will represent the city in the Mindanao Finals set on November 23 to 26.
The tournament sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) will have three brackets for the participating schools in region 11.
The bracket A will be lead by Ateneo de Davao University (Addu) Blue Knights,STI College, and Jose Maria College (JMC) Kings.
The bracket B will be composed of Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC) Crusaders, University of Immaculate Concepcion (UIC), St. John Paul College of
Davao (SJPCD), Philippine Women's College (PWC) Patriots and Cor Jesu College (CJC) of Digos.
The bracket C are made up of Davao Merchant Marine Academy College of Southern Philippines (DMMACSP) Mariners, Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Bulldogs,Agro-Industrial Foundation College of the Philippines (AIFCP) Sailors and Holy Cross College of Sasa (HCCS).
On the first day of the tournament Addu will face STI, followed by the HCDC-UIC faceo-ff and DMMACSP will face RMC in the main game.
