Former Crusaders Is UAAP Basketball Player Of The Week

For the second in almost a month, former Holy Cross of Davao College Crusader Alvin Pasaol has been awarded as the UAAP Press Corps-Chooks To Go Player of the Week.
The burly but very mobile Pasaol got his second player of the week after he scored  32 points to lead the Red Warriors past University of
the Philippines (UP), 73-64, on Sunday.
The Davaoeno beat out Cebuano big man  Santi Santillan of De La Salle and Matt Nieto of Ateneo for the weekly plum
given by the league's beat writers from broadsheets, tabloids, and online publications.
Pasaol is currently the second-leading scorer in the league, averaging 22.2 points per game to go with 7.1 rebounds,
1.3 assists and as many as steals.
The sophomore player got his first player of the week honor after  a historic 49-point performance in a
100-106 lost to defending champion De La Salle and a 32-point effort in UE’s first win of the season - a 96-91
conquest over University of Santo Tomas - two weeks ago. With Pasaol leading the way, UE has won three of its last four
games for a 3-7 (win-loss) card - just a game behind join fifth-placers University of the Philippines and
National University.
