Baguio National School of Arts and Trades Wins Davao Baseball Tourney In Calinan

For the second straight year the Baguio National School of Arts and Trades (BNSAT) has won the high school division title of the 12th Davao Baseball Cup over the weekend at the
Lt. Col. Villafuerte Sr. Elementary School in Calinan, Davao City.
BNSAT lead by star player and most valuable player John Jerich C. Casinillo demolished their nighboring school Calinan National High School (CNHS), 15-2 to successfully defend their title.
With their win, BNSAT won  a cash prize of P10,000, champion's trophy, medals and
baseball equipment while CNHS settled for the P5,000 runner-up prize, runner-up trophy and baseball equipment.
BNSAT coached by Eric Gauran are also made up of Reniel Bruno, Jayso Atawom, Janryl Aprong, Jimmy Camangya Jr.,
Joel Camangayan Jr., John Mark Duyac, Gendeo Enoch, Klien Andrie Escalante, Elijah Guinita, Irvon Luardo,
Mario Nisnisan Jr., and John Philip Pacomios.
Meanwhile, the Baguio Central Elementary School School beat Upper Sirib Elementary School, 10-2, to win the elementary division championship through the heroics of MVP James Vincent Nisnisan.
The baseball tournament was orgaized by the Datu Uchida Development Foundation, Inc. with Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School
and Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku.
