This deveoped after the team won the gold medal in elementay football in the recent Davao Regional Athletic Association (DAVRAA) 2018 at the Tionko football fied.
The host team beat Tagum City Tagumpay 4-1 to win the crown and a slot to this year's Palaro.
The four goals of Davao City were provided by team captain Lucha Gian Casterial, Gian Miguel Lacerna, Gian Sisnorio and Victor Lagundi.
The team coached by Romalia Banta are also composed of Hendrich Denila, Luis Aquino, Mark Jorell Campos, Julian Lacuesta, Cian Nogadas, Vianney Lagundi, Dave Casipe, Karl Sumampong, Dave Gildore, Adrian Elarmo, Eboy Campana, Jan Adrian Rieta, Josh Abendan, and Joshua Dalagan.
Banta is very happy with their win and he vowed that they will do their best to put up a good showing in Palaro.
