FAA throught the strong scoring effort of Most Valuable Player of the tournament Jude Paolo Bagay dethrone the defending champions from St. Mary’s College (SMC) 84-78 in the Third LGU Cup-Simballay Festival 2017 in
Nabunturan, Compostela Valley.
Bagay and the rest of his team played strong defense and offence to bring down the defending champion from Tagum City.
FAA coach Moses Mabayao said SMC played well but the compusure and experience of his players prevailed in the end in their win.
With their latest win, Mabayao is confident FAA is on the right track for more victories in 2018.
