Running Siblings Wins Araw ng Barangay Langub 5K Fun Run

Two siblings who will represent Davao City in the forthcoming Davao Regional Athletic Association (Davraa) are making a huge headway in their preparation for the biggest sporting event in this part of Mindanao.
This developed after the Luardo siblings, Carlo and Princess Niña, ruled the just concluded Araw ng Barangay Langub 5K Fun Run held at the Langub Elementary School.
Carlo, a 15-year-old student of Maa Elementary School, won the male category with a  run of 14 minutes and 54 seconds
Eustaquio Savellano, the coach of  the Luardo sibling said his record is  57 seconds faster than his 41st National Milo Marathon mark and just 56 seconds short of the 13:58 Philippine record.
The younger sister of Carlo, Niña, a 12-year-old Langub Elementary School athlete ruled the female group after checking in at 23:37.
With the strong performance of his ward, Sabellano is confident the two will do well in DAVRAA slated in February 2018.
