Holy Child of Davao Places Second In 32nd SBP Passerelle Basketball Tournament National Finals

The Holy Child of Davao (HCCD) Reds has placed second to eventual champion San Beda in the recent 32nd SBP Passerelle Basketball
Tournament National Finals in  Cebu Coliseum, Cebu City over the weekend.
HCCD fell short against the favored and taller San Beda squad in their championship battle 68-51 to settle for runner-up honors in the tournament organized by Milo.
The second place finish is a huge improvement for HCCD who placed third in 2015.
In the championship game,  Chucky Pacifico led Holy Child with eleven points while James Belicario added eight points and eight rebounds.
Prior to their championship battle, San Beda has earlier beat HCCD in the elimination round 48-88.
HCCD got the slot to nationals finals after they beat the visiting Corpus Christi School of Cagayan de Oro City, 70-63, in last Sunday's finals of the
Best Center-organized 32nd Milo Passerelle-SBP Regional Finals held at the newly-refurbished Rizal Memorial Colleges Fil Oil Flying V Arena.
