A  virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose using an online application.

You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, many local, national, and international races are organizing a virtual run to allow runners the chance to continue running at their own home without getting infected with the virus.

Last August 17,2019, Vertudazo also won the Salomon XTrail 2019 event on the grounds of Crocodile Park here.

He won the 30-kilometer trail course of the race which was organized as part of the 34th Kadayawan sports calendar.

The veteran trail runner won P2,000 and a pair of Salomon shoes for his feat.

Vertudazo is very pleased with his win since the race is tough as it involves a  climb of 70 degrees, knee-high streams, and muddy trails. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
