DAVAO CITY---Some volleyball coaches and referees got much-needed assistance in this pandemic crisis from the Office of House Speaker Allan Peter Cayetano.
The Office of the House Speaker through sports ambassador Abby Marano, a mainstay of the Philippine Women's Volleyball Team gave 25 kilos of rice and cash to the volleyball coaches and referees in Davao City.
The distribution of assistance was facilitated by Balibolista de Dabaw lead by its president Abet Bernan last September 19,2020 at a covered court in in Ecoland Phase 1, Ecoland, Davao City.
The Office of the House Speaker distributed the assistance to assist the local volleyball coaches and referees this pandemic crisis.
On behalf of the volleyball coaches and referees expressed deep gratitude to Cayetano for the much-needed assistance they got from his office.
The Balibolista de Dabaw is the governing body of the volleyball referees in region 11.
The group also organizes volleyball tournaments all over Mindanao. (Romeo Braceros Jr.)
