The candidates running for various positions in Barangay Lasang, Davao City, have vowed to observe a fair, honest, orderly campaign for the forthcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataas election on October 30.
Barangay Lasanfg chairman Allan Simo-ag told the Latest Davao News that he is happy that all the candidates in his barangay attended the covenant signing for a peaceful and orderly election in his beloved barangay.
Simon-ag said the signing was personally witnessed by the various security clusters in his barangay.
With the signing of the covenant, Simon-ag is hopeful that the election in his barangay will be peaceful and orderly.
Simo-ag, who is running for his last term as barangay captain, is also hopeful that he can retain his seat in this year's election.
Under Simo-ag's leadership, various infrastructural and livelihood projects had been implemented that benefitted the Barangay Lasang residents.
If elected in his last term, Simon-ag, a former media personality, vowed to work even further to bring peace and development to his beloved barangay.
