Jessie Mar Culaste credits projects poured in for Barangay Dumoy to the Barangay Council

 





Long-time Barangay Dumoy, Davao City captain Jessie Mar Culaste credited the projects poured in for his barangay to the collective effort between him and the whole barangay council.

Culaste told Latest Davao News that the projects given to his barangay could only have been given if the barangay council had passed a resolution for such projects.

"Ang mga proyekto diri sa Barangay Dumoy dili lang ni ako kung dili sa tibuok barangay council usab," Culaste said.


The service-oriented barangay chairman said in recognition of the efforts of his set of barangay councilors, he made it a point to include them in streamers stipulating the project given to the barangay and its cost.

"Dapat makita sa publiko nga ang proyekto sa ilahang barangay naggikan sa paningkamot sa ilahang mga opisyal kay mao kan ang kamatuoran," Culaste added.


Earlier, Culaste said they estimate that first congressman Pulong Duterte and other government agencies have already allocated P400 million funds to fund thñe various infrastructure projects in the 28 puroks in his barangay.

Culaste said that these projects include gyms, roads, and drainage projects.

He said some of the significant infrastructure projects in his barangay are the P60 million farm-to-market road sourced from the Department of Agriculture, the main road improvement of Dacoville at P85 million, and a P76 million drainage project.


The amiable barangay captain said under his administration, he make it a point to prioritize infrastructure developments since it is a huge help for his beloved constituents.

The professional dentist is very grateful to Congressman Duterte and his brother, Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte, for allocating many infrastructure projects in his barangay.

Culaste is hopeful more infrastructure projects will be poured into his barangay in the next few years.
