The dream of long-time Barangay Dumoy chairman Jessie Mar Culaste to serve another term for his beloved constituents is on the right track.
In this year's Sanguniang Kabataan and Barangay Elections, Culaste will be carrying 11 barangay councilors, most of whom are incumbent officials.
Culaste said when he and his team decide to file their certificate of candidacy there would be non funfare since they will do it in silence without any noise.
Since another Barangay Dumoy resident will challenge him as barangay captain in this year's election, Culaste said it is up to the people to decide who will govern them in the barangay.
Culaste said his rumored political opponent is a good friend.
Last August 24, 50 lucky residents of Barangay Dumoy, Davao City, availed of a free dental extaction service offered by Culaste.
The Dental Outreach Program offered by Barangay Dumoy was done inside its spacious barangay hall from 8:30 in the morning until 12 noon on the same day.
Culaste, a registered professional dentist, personally conducted the dental extraction service to the delight of his beloved constituents.
The staff of Latest Davao News was very happy to have personally witnessed the one-day medical mission.
What makes the free dental service special is the fact that walk-in residents can avail of the medical service for free.
Dental and other medical services have been one of the top priorities of Culate since he became a barangay captain Dumoy in 2002.
Despite his status as barangay chairman, Culaste still prefers to do the extraction himself since it delights him to personally serve the people.
