Fifty lucky Barangay Dumoy, Davao City residents, availed of a free dental extraction service offered by long-time Dumoy Barangay captain Jessie Mar Culaste on August 24.
The Dental Outreach Program offered by Barangay Dumoy was done inside its spacious barangay hall from 8:30 in the morning until 12 noon on the same day.
Culaste, a registered professional dentist, personally conducted the dental extraction service to the delight of his beloved constituents.
The staff of Latest Davao News was pleased to have personally witnessed the one-day medical mission.
The free dental service is unique because even walk-in residents can avail of the medical service for free.
Dental and other medical services have been one of the top priorities of Culate since he became a barangay captain Dumoy in 2002.
Despite his status as barangay chairman, Culaste still prefers to do the extraction himself since it delights him to personally serve the people.
