It would not be a big surprise if fewer crimes were committed in Barangau Dumoy in the past few years, including this year.
The barangay policemen or tanods in Barangay Dumoy are working hard and efficiently to keep their place safe from criminals 24/7.
Long-time Barangay Dumoy captain Jessie Mar Culaste said his tanods are always working inspired because he gave them a high honorarium which is bigger than what other barangays in Davao City are giving.
"Gi prioritize dyud nako nga hatagan ug dakong honorarium and mga tanod sa Barangay Dumoy,"Culaste said.
Culaste revealed that the tanods regularly report to him the peace and order situation in the 28 puroks in Barangay Dumoy.
"They regularly sent me pictures to know the status of each purok in my barangay," Culaste added.
He said the decision to pay his tanods more is based on the study he made.
The way the tanods work in Barangay Dumoy, the residents in these areas have more reasons to sleep well at night 24/7.
