Talomo Barangay captain Bendor Calamba praised the recent State of the City Address (SOCA) of Davao City Mayor Sebastian "Baste" Duterte for being straightforward and clear.
Calamba, who was privileged to personally witness the SOCA at the City Council Building, said Baste used clear and concise words in his SOCA that even ordinary people could understand easily.
"Ganahan ko sa SOCA kay dali lang masabtan sa kadaghanan," Calamba said.
Calamba also said that he is happy that some of the achievements mentioned by Baste in his SOCA can be found in his barangay.
"Mapasalamaton kita sa city government of Davao sa pagbutang ug daghang proyekto sa Barangay Talomo," Calamba added.
The service-oriented Calamba also took time to thank the elder brother of Baste first district congressman Pulong Duterte for pouring a lot of projects into his beloved barangay.
"Daghan sang mga proyekto ang nakuha sa Barangay Talomo gikan sa opisina ni congressman Pulong Duterte," Calamba said.
He said under the leadership of the Duterte's, Davao City is in good hands and is hopeful more projects will be given to his barangay by both the city government and the office of the first congressional office in the next few years.
