P8M renovation of Barangay Sasa Barangay Hall set to offer convenience and comfort to residents

After many years since it was constructed in the 2000s, the Barangay Hall of Sasa is finally getting the much-needed renovation and repair it badly needs.

Barangay Sasa first-term captain Jerry Licarte said he decided to initiate the first renovation of the old and unappealing barangay hall to better serve and offer convenience and comfort to his beloved constituents.

Licarte said the barangay set aside P8 million for this project so that the residents would be more eager to visit the barangay, and more of them will be given services by the barangay in the newly renovated barangay hall.

"Karaan na dyud nga building ang barangay hall, ang compartmen sa silong, pati CR need na dyud i repair," Licarte said.

Licarte said he also decided to move further the barangay hall to make it bigger and accommodate the department of offices, including a lounge for the barangay councilor.

"Ang renovated barangay hall naa say social hall nga maka accommodate 200 to 300 katao," Licarte added.

The service-oriented barangay chair said the councilor's lounge is a huge help for the barangay councilor to work and serve their constituents better.

He said that once finished, which is tentatively set in December of 2023, the new barangay hall will offer better services and comfort to the Barangay Sasa residents.

"Kung mahuman ang renovated nga barangay hall mas dako kini ug makahatag ug mas maayong serbisyo sa katawhan," Licarte said.
